Movies and social media attracted me to the breed, but Riddick is the dog that started it all. Although he did not produce any puppies, he was the inspiration for the creation of Fantasy Dobermans.

When I was first looking for a Doberman I researched breeders, selected a reputable breeder, and joined her waitlist. As I waited, I read educational articles on the DPCA’s website and located a reputable breeder near me that offered training classes. This led me to Montwood Arista Dobermans. For almost two years, we attended agility, obedience and the occasional conformation class. I had neutered Riddick which meant he couldn’t be shown, but it was during this time that I decided that my next dog would be a show dog. Five years later River joined the family, and she is now the foundation of Fantasy Dobermans.
